Anastasia Izzard

Anastasia began her veterinary career in 2015, working in a busy specialist referral hospital for 8 years. She qualified as a Registered Veterinary Nurse in 2020 and has since worked within a variety of different disciplines including oncology, cardiology, surgery, and anaesthesia. Anastasia has always possessed a strong passion for anaesthesia and has devoted her training to the field. 

Keen to pursue a dedicated career solely in anaesthesia, she left her previous practice and started at Blaise as Senior Anaesthesia Nurse, upon its opening in November 2023. 

At Blaise, Anastasia started her Advanced Nursing Certificate in Anaesthesia and Analgesia to further expand her knowledge in the field. She thoroughly enjoys the support and challenges that come with the role. 

In her spare time, Anastasia loves to travel. She recently got married and her next adventure will be to Japan during cherry blossom season for her honeymoon.
