Gemma Morgan

Gemma originally started her student nursing career back in 2003, but after having family commitments decided to take a break from nursing.

After 14 years and not really finding her passion elsewhere she decided to start her nursing training again and qualified in 2021.

She did her training in a busy out of hours hospital then went on to a first opinion practice where she found her passion for surgery.

At Blaise she started her role as an out of hours emergency nurse but has since become a multidisciplinary nurse and has a keen interest in all the different areas of referral within the practice. She has recently achieved an NCERT in surgical nursing and hopes to put her knowledge in to practice during the surgical rotations of her multidisciplinary role.

Gemma has two dogs called Rosie and Lenny, she also has a bearded dragon named Willow. She likes to go on long walks with her dogs and family, she also enjoys beach trips with them too!
