Vinnie Fehim Veterinary Care Assistant

Vinnie was born in Bulgaria and lived in Turkey for over thirty years.

Vinnie has always had a passion for animals and began her journey by volunteering at an animal rescue in Istanbul. While she attempted to serve as a foster parent multiple times, she eventually found herself caring for 15 cats at one point (she currently has 10).

In 2015, Vinnie began her career in the veterinary field when she was approached by a veterinarian and offered a job while volunteering at the shelter where they worked together.

Vinnie subsequently pursued her studies at university and graduated in 2017 as a Veterinary and Laboratory Assistant from the veterinary science department.

A year later, Vinnie relocated to the UK with the ambition of gaining further experience, exploring different approaches to animal welfare, and pursuing additional studies to become a qualified animal nurse. In 2019, she began working for an IVC Evidensia practice where they provided training. Vinnie graduated as an Animal Care Assistant and Veterinary Care Assistant through Rodbaston College in 2022.

Vinnie is now interested in becoming a qualified veterinary nurse and with a focus on animal nutrition and enrichment, with the goal of delivering high-quality care to pets and educating owners on animal care, as she believes that prevention is better than treatment.

In her free time, Vinnie enjoys outdoor activities such as walking and cycling and appreciates relaxing with a good book. She also loves discovering beer gardens and tasting craft beers.
