Diagnostic Imaging

Our busy Diagnostic Imaging team works alongside colleagues in Internal Medicine, Oncology, Cardiology and Surgery to ensure fast turnaround of results and accurate diagnoses leading to a speedy treatment plan.

Our referral service thrives on using a variety of methods, and our Imaging team plays a big part in it

 

The imaging department is equipped with a number of modern imaging equipment, including:

 

  • 1.5 T Siemens MRI scanner
  • 64 slice Siemens CT scanner
  • Digital radiography – both fixed and mobile
  • Flat-panel fluoroscopy (C-arm) with vascular package
  • Multiple ultrasound machines including a dedicated cardiac machine and portable units for point-of-care ultrasound

With all our clinical services requiring the use of imaging, our team works alongside clinicians to aid with clinical investigations, diagnosis, treatment and post-procedural care to help offer the very best outcome possible.
