Neurology covers disorders of the brain, spine and peripheral nerves. Commonly encountered conditions include neoplasia, inflammation (meningitis), seizure disorders, structural disorders (syringomyelia), trauma and intervertebral disc disease.

Investigating neurological conditions is complex but Blaise is fully equipped to achieve a diagnosis in even the most challenging cases. Our facilities include:

1.5 T high field Siemens MRI
64 slice Siemens CT
Comprehensive electrodiagnostic testing including EMG, ERG, EEG & BAER
On-site lab for immediate analysis of CSF and other fluids
Extensive neurosurgical facilities
Dedicated neurology nursing with intensive care support when needed

The neurology team are world renowned and involved in a number of international projects, with retained academic links meaning they are at the forefront of clinical practice.
